Gerakan Deputy President Dato’ Dr. Cheah Soon Hai slammed DAP’s Advisor Lim Kit Siang who suggested the formation of a “Save Malaysia” coalition by BN and PR, and viewed the suggestion as ridiculous and funny. He said that this was obviously a political trick by DAP to deny their responsibility on the matter.

Cheah pointed out that, Gerakan was hoping that DAP could take real action against PAS from tabling the Hudud Bill. He insisted that DAP should take the full responsibility for PAS’ behavior as DAP had doubled assured PAS that the latter would never implement Hudud, which in fact wasn’t the case.

“Lim Kit Siang must stop misleading, manipulating and insulting the wisdom of the Rakyat, and attempting to push away their responsibility to BN. None of the states administered by BN proposed Hudud implementation. As such, I urge DAP to stop evading from their own responsibility and blaming it all on BN,” said Cheah.
