PAS Steering Committee is against the constitution

Pas central leadership to appoint a steering committee to oversee the running of the state government to resolve its own party leadership is against the Kedah state constitution.

Dr.Cheah Soon Hai,who is also Derga state assemblyman said PAS leaders should not drag the party matters with the state admistration.I am not interested with the tussle for the power within PAS in Kedah,what concern me most as Kedah state assemblyman,I cannot agree with any move to undermind the state government.

PAS should resolve its own crisis with the party and not dragging state government into its feet.The last few months of infighting in PAS has finally become like having a government within a government.

Kedah,historically an Unferated Malay State,has its own civil service system nows need to answer to a political body from outside the state making decisions about Kedah state policies and matters.

We also wonder how the Kedah Pakatan Rakyat works?The Kedah is supposed to comprise PAS,PKR and DAP.Now the state government need to take orders from a body comprising only PAS leaders outside the state,yet appointed by PAS only.

What is actually ths stand of PKR and DAP leaders ? So far PKR and DAP politicians throughout the nation inclusive those in Kedah have been silent throughout the political storm.

Their silent has been read as consent to the arrangement an d it makes them look like pawns on a PAS chess board.

We Kedahans objected to people who have no locus standi to act for the state.
