In reference to Utusan Malaysia which quoted two blogs making claim that participants in a meeting between Penang Chief Minister and Christian leaders discussed making Christianity the official religion.
I would like to call upon the police to thoroughly investigate the claims,to get to the bottom of the truth and nothing other than the true.If the claims is true,actions should be taken against those responsible for playing sensitive issues of religion.Otherwise if the two who posted the lies should be charged under seditious act.Utusan Malaysia which front-paged this sensitive issue without verification should face the music too.
Again we Malaysians tend to take whatever reported in blog posts are true and believe the contents of allegations in the blog posts.Most of us never verify the authenticity and the source of the blog posts.There are many baseless and fabricated allegations in nowadays blog posts.
Many with hidden agenda had deliberately exploit the blog posts to mislead the public.Enough is enough,such irresponsible reporting is rampant and many have been taken a ride.
Many politicians,espeacially those in Pakatan Rakyat have made use of blog posts to smear the image of its opponents and played up the sentiments of people.They have been distributed the unwarranted and unsupported claims to confuse and mislead the public at large.The champions of human rights,corruption,press freedom may be the actual culprits who abuse the blog posts.
It is high time the public must always cast doubt on what posted in a blog,reasoning and verification is upmost improtant.
